MIKA needed an invitation, not an announcement. Chef Michael White was opening the restaurant in Coral Gables, Florida, and wanted creators and influencers to arrive already knowing what the kitchen tasted like — which meant the invitation had to carry flavor, not just a date.

Forty boxes. Four weeks from brief to delivery. Every one hand-assembled, and every one going to someone whose feed would be the first public look at the restaurant.

We built a cigar-style rigid box in deep olive, with a hinged lid printed on the inside with a note from Chef Michael White — so the first thing you read is his voice, not ours.

Inside, a custom structural insert holds six glass jars in a fitted grid, each one seated so nothing shifts in transit. White curated six spice blends drawn from the Riviera flavors on his menu; we packaged them. Every jar got a branded label, and every jar got its own mini folding carton, printed in the restaurant's olive and gold. A card sits on top of the insert explaining each blend and how to cook with it.

Forty kits designed and produced in Los Angeles, then delivered to creators and influencers in South Florida ahead of opening night — a small, deliberate list rather than a broad send. Each recipient left with six spice blends they could actually cook with, which kept the restaurant in their kitchen for weeks after the invitation arrived.
